Hi, my name is Barbara and I joined Etsy in November of 2007 after the prodding of several friends who had joined that year. Business started out very slowly, but gradually I began to find my niche selling one of a kind pots and pendants. I am almost exclusively selling pendants now (however, I will begin listing my pottery again someday!)
This year marks a new chapter in my life. I am officially retired as of the new year and am excited to be able to devote more time to creating, building and expanding my shop. Look for more of a variety of items in my shop and a broader palette of glazes and colors to enhance my pendants and pottery.
I've been working in clay now for almost 42 years....wow, I can hardly believe it! I have been fortunate to work consistently in clay the entire time with the exception of taking two maternity leaves. I'm absolutely excited about clay after all of this time and consider pottery my healthy addiction. I've been teaching pottery for 37 years and can't imagine not having clay in my life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and stopping by my shop. Thanks to all who have purchased my work. It brings me great joy that you find something in my work that speaks to your heart. <3
